Our Services

VINEYARD FARMING SERVICES

As a full-service vineyard management company, HVVM cultivates the vineyards that we farm.

Our team has many years' experience developing and maintaining quality vineyards for premium wineries. We bring our comprehensive knowledge of vineyard implementation to each site on an individual basis, thereby enhancing both the land and the grape quality. We understand that every vineyard has diverse challenges and goals.

We believe that the best quality fruit comes from a complete approach: good management of the soil as well as irrigation programming and pest and disease spraying intervals. Therefore, applying sustainable vineyard management practices in our everyday routine is essential. This affects everything, such as how we treat disease, weeds, and pests with diverse biological and chemical methods in the vineyard for a successful result.

VITICULTURE SERVICES

Viticulture (from the Latin word for vine) is the science, production, and study of grapes.

Viticultural planning and knowledge encompasses monitoring and controlling pests and diseases, fertilising, irrigation, canopy management, monitoring fruit development and characteristics, deciding when to harvest, and vine pruning during the winter months.

HVVM believes that viticulturists should be intimately involved with winemakers, because vineyard management and the resulting grape characteristics provide the basis for the winemaking process.
